Guided Reading
It is a school reading program supporting every child in their reading journey. Guided reading strengthens students’ reading books at their instructional level.
The aim is to raise the standard of reading in English and Arabic across the early years and primary school.
Who would benefit from this
All Early Years and Primary teachers teaching English and Arabic.
Program content
Participants will be able to:
• Assess students’ reading levels
• Plan for reading lessons targeting specific reading strategies
• Track students’ reading progress
