Technology in the Classroom

 

Teaching in a digital environment and using ICT has become one of the essential 21st century skills. However, using open social media and other available software might not serve the intended purpose. This course suggests practical websites that can be used to promote student's interaction and provide a safe teacher-controlled environment.

All Grade 4-12 teachers, subject coordinators.

Program content

Participants will be able to:
•   Explore the basic features of creating an online course (a free online platform)
•   Create a course and share it with students
•   Develop a working scheme using the online course created
•   Explore the basic features of interactive websites such as Kahoot, Poll-Eveywhere, Plickers and Phet Simulations
•   Develop a lesson using ICT
