In addition to knowledge, students must learn different ways of thinking, utilizing knowledge to solve problems, analyze, criticize and ask ‘WHY’. In the scope of this course on critical thinking we will introduce the 5-Step Framework suggested by Robert Duron, Barbra Limbach and Windy Waugh in their paper ‘Critical Thinking Framework For Any Discipline’ published in 2006.

All Grade 1 – 12 teachers, subject coordinators.

Program content

Participants will be able to:
•   Identify the 5-Step Framework for Critical Thinking
•   Apply the 5-Step Framework for Critical Thinking
•   Apply the relationship between Bloom’s Taxonomy and Costa’s Levels of Questioning
